Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you host site inspections for Bebeah Farm?
Yes, we do! Please ask for the next available dates and times. We usually host these every 3-4 weeks on a Saturday or Sunday from 10am to 12pm. We can also find a mid week date if you would prefer.
How far from Sydney is the property?
90 minutes from Sydney, 60 minutes from Newcastle and 30 minutes from Wyong.
How many days do you recommend we book for?
We recommend 3-5 days to ensure you can relax and take it all in.
Can suppliers access the property for bump in/out outside of booking dates?
No, all bump in and bump out must happen during your stay. Please take this into consideration when booking your dates for the property.
Where do we have our ceremony if it’s raining?
If you have 80 or less, you can utilise the deck of the house and have guests standing inside the house. For those over 80 guests, we recommend hiring a marquee or utilising the marquee that you will be hosting your reception in.

Is there a pool?
Yes! Our stunning infinity pool was completed November 2021 and is a great addition to the venue.
Can we use the fire pits?
This is okay as long as there isn’t a local fire ban at the time. Please ensure that the grass does not burn or singe. It takes weeks for the grass to recover and we are likely to have an event the following weekend.
Is there local accommodation? Where can guests stay?
We recommend that guests camp or glamp on the property. Check out Simple Pleasures for some great glamping options. Alternatively there is Twin Creeks Rainforest Retreat just up the road and we can organise shuttles between the properties. There are plenty of local houses available on Stayz or Air BNB. Check out the areas of Cedar Brush, Yarramalong, Kulnura and Bucketty.
Can we have a recovery brunch / lunch / dinner the day following the wedding?
Of course. The Upper Gardens is perfect for this.
Is the property kid friendly?
Certainly is! It is your responsibility to keep an eye on kids at all times due to water throughout the property.
Can we bring our dog?
Of course!
Are there horses and cows on the property?
At the moment due to the current climate, there are no kept animals on the property (except our friendly egg laying chooks), only wildlife. You do often see the local Kangaroos, Wombats and Deer all over the property.

Do you need flooring for the marquee?
On the Upper Gardens, yes some sort of hard floor covering is required. Down on the paddocks, no flooring is required but it is recommended.
Can we have post ceremony drinks by the pool?
Yes, absolutely.
Do we need to provide bathroom facilities if using the whole property?
Yes, down in the paddocks.
Is there any lighting around the property?
Apart from the lighting in and around the main house, there is limited solar lighting. We recommend that you put up festoon or fairy lights to create some dim light. Anything more will be too harsh as it will be pitch black once the sun goes down.
Do we need to provide a generator? What power/water is available?
Possibly. If you are planning on using a lot of power, we would recommend asking your suppliers to bring a generator with them. This can usually host the musicians, lighting and toilets on this power. Again, for the paddocks, we have tank water available using a regular garden hose connector.
